To make Masala Porridge Material
Oatmeal 2 bowl
Carrot half cup finely chopped
Onion – half cup finely chopped
Beans ½ cup finely chopped
Cabbage – half cup finely chopped
Potatoes cut into 2 cubes
– finely chopped green chillies
-4 tbsp ghee
– Coriander powder 3 tbsp
,
Cumin powder 1 tsp
,
Asafoetida 2 pinches
,
salt to taste
– One cinnamon, cardamom, big cardamom
– one teaspoon cumin
,Garam masala powder half teaspoon
Kashmiri red chili powder

How to make Masala Daliya
First of all, put the pressure cooker on the gas and let it heat up. Now put dry oatmeal in it and roast till it starts to smell. Now take it out in a plate and keep it. Now put oil or ghee in the pressure cooker and when hot, add dry garam masala and asafoetida.

Now when it gets roasted, add onion to it and fry it. When lightly roasted, add all the dry spices and fry them. Now add potatoes, carrots, beans, peas, cabbage etc. to it and add salt along with it. Add a little water as needed so that the spices do not burn. Now add oatmeal and mix well.

Now pour 4 bowls of water in two bowls of porridge and put the lid of the pressure cooker. Let it cook on medium flame. As soon as you give 2 whistles, turn off the gas and wait for the whistle to come out. Masala porridge is ready. You can add mushroom, paneer etc. as per taste. When the pressure is released, add coriander leaves to it and serve hot. You can serve curd or buttermilk with it.
